Donate Objects

Help the MIT Museum expand the stories it can tell about science, technology, and history of the Institute, by donating objects or collections.

What does it mean to be a donor to the MIT Museum? It means that you become part of the expanding circle of supporters who are helping us to connect youth, families, and adults with MIT’s unique and uniquely creative problem-solving culture.

Donors help us build new exhibits, mount new gallery demonstrations, and offer new educational workshops. Annual gifts help to oil the wheels—metaphorically and literally—of our kinetic sculptures, light our holograms, and offer a wider range of educational workshops to visitors.

The MIT Museum is uniquely positioned to offer direct access to some of the greatest research, inventions, and ideas in science, technology, engineering, art, and math (STEAM). Your support of the museum is critical to keep such innovation and research accessible to everyone and to demonstrate that public understanding of science and technology is not only crucial, but also fun.
