Self-guided visits are available daily beginning at 10 a.m. Last group entry is at 3:30 p.m. Visits typically last 1–2 hours, depending on your interest. The MIT Museum can accommodate groups of eight up to 75. For groups of more than 75 people, we will work with you to stagger your arrival time. The spring and summer seasons are the most popular times for group visits, and we often are at capacity, so make your reservations early.
Student groups (recommended for grades 6 and up) $5 per student; one chaperone (age 18+) per eight students is required. Book at least two weeks in advance and chaperones are admitted free. Additional chaperones are charged $10 per the adult rate.
Adult groups $10 per adult. Book at least two weeks in advance and the group leader is admitted free.
Senior groups (65+) $5 per senior. Book at least two weeks in advance and the group leader is admitted free.
