Four-Quadrants with Centerpiece / Four Square
Description
Straight and curved crease folding of five interlocking soft cubes. Folded using a gadget with cylinder reflecting along sine curve and tucking. There are pencil lines visible on underside. The piece is in a handmade wooden frame. There are decorative incised lines creating squares at the corners and the frame has been painted white. The piece is attached to the frame by four metal thumbtacks on each side and there is a wooden support beam running diagonally. The support beam has been glued to the back of the piece in two places but is only held in the frame by tension. On the support beam there is a large white label with 18 written on it in red, and a second small white label on top of the first with 56 written on in it black. At the top of the back of the frame there are two metal eyelets with wire strung between them for hanging.
