Michael John Gorman Named MIT Museum Director
The Museum is pleased to announce that Michael John Gorman has been named the next Mark R. Epstein (Class of 1963) Director of the MIT Museum with an anticipated start date of Summer 2024.
“We are excited to welcome Dr. Gorman to MIT,” says Philip Khoury, Ford International Professor of History and Vice Provost at MIT. “He brings a wealth of experience in creating and leading dynamic institutions bridging science and the arts, and we were impressed with his vision for the MIT Museum as a center for transdisciplinary public engagement. We look forward to a bright future with Michael John leading the way.”
