Family and Friends Workshop: Laser Cutting

Get hands-on with real engineering tools and equipment as you create your own light-up acrylic display! Using our laser cutter and other maker tools, work together to build a personalized keepsake.

This workshop is designed for families and friends working in small groups. Children must be age 13 and above with at least one adult. Workshop price includes museum admission, so please feel free to arrive early and explore beforehand.

Family and Friends Workshop: Biomaterial Testing

Can we turn to nature for the materials of the future? Come test the strength and flexibility of biologically derived materials while you learn about their potential in everything from sustainable packaging to medical devices.

This workshop is designed for families and friends working in small groups. Children must be age 11 and above with at least one adult. Workshop price includes museum admission, so please feel free to arrive early and explore beforehand.
