Description

Curved crease folding of seven overlapping cylinders. Folded using a gadget with parabolas and line segments with a smooth transition. The pencil lines drawn to mark folds are still visible on the back. On the top right side of the back is a large white paper label with 31 written on it in red. Was originally mounted on a redwood strip. Huffman wrote in his 1979 inventory, "'Interrupted semi-cylinders' on a redwood strip; never satisfactorily mounted, is used as an example to be handled by audiences at my lectures."
