Give

The museum relies on the generous support of alumni and friends to realize its mission of making research and innovation accessible to all.

There are many ways to give, and every gift counts!

The MIT Museum greatly appreciates the generosity of the donors whose contributions helped make this museum a reality, as well as those who supported us at our former location at 265 Massachusetts Avenue.

Individual gifts may be in the form of cash, securities, planned gifts, or other transactions.

Unrestricted support is critical to the museum, helping to advance museum exhibitions, collections and programs. Make a gift to support the MIT Museum's Annual Fund.

To make a gift of cash, securities, or a planned gift, or to designate your gift to support a specific area within the museum, please contact Erin Genereux, Director of Development, Arts Initiatives.

Corporate Giving offers ways for companies to partner with the museum to meet philanthropic, community engagement and employee benefit goals. To learn more about the museum’s corporate giving opportunities, please contact Erin Genereux, Director of Development, Arts Initiatives.

Donating an Object Do you have an object you’d like to donate to the museum’s collection? We welcome items that document MIT and also engage, instruct, and inspire our audiences. Please complete an application form and we'll be in touch.
