The MIT Museum is conveniently located next to the MBTA Kendall/MIT Inbound subway train stop in the mixed-use office building located at 314 Main Street. Our entrance is at the rear of the building directly across from the MIT Welcome Center.

The 64, 68, and 85 lines stop near the MIT Museum. The #1 bus stops on Massachusetts Avenue, about a 15-minute walk.
Parking in Cambridge and Boston can be expensive and hard to find. Whenever possible, we suggest you use public transportation or a taxi/rideshare service. For rates and locations of garages in the area, please check online.

The Hart Nautical Gallery is open daily 10:00am-4:30pm. Advance appointments are required on weekends when the MIT campus is closed to general access. Please contact our Visitor Experience Team at least 24 hours prior to your intended visit to schedule.
