4-Lobed, cloverleaf, design / 4-Leaf Clover

Description

Curved and straight crease folding, circular in the shape of a four-leaf clover with rounded edging; or four bonnets. Folded using a gadget with ellipses and tucking. The piece is mounted on wooden mount that has been painted white. The mount consists of a square wooden base screwed into a wooden dowel in which slits have been cut to accommodate folds. The base has a metal eyelet attached to one corner with metal wire for hanging the piece. On the bottom of the mount is written David Huffman August 1977, in addition there is a large white label with 11 written on it in red ink.

Included in the 1978 exhibition 'White Paper 1' at the Eloise Pickard Smith Gallery, Cowell College at UCSC.
