Boston-based architecture firm that employed many MIT architecture graduates. Prominent projects include the Bedford Block in Downtown Boston and Old South Church in Copley Square. They were important local proponents of the Venetian Gothic style often associated with British critic and theorist John Ruskin (Ruskinian Gothic).
