Description

The Kimble Glass Company was founded by Evan Ewan Kimble in Chicago in 1901 and specialized in laboratory glassware. The company was sold to Owens-Illinois, which continued to sell products under the Kimble name. In 2007, the Kimble assets were transferred to Gerresheimer Glass, who formed a joint venture with Thermo Fisher Scientific to form Kimble Chase.
