Description
Founded by Olin and Rod Stephens and Drake Sparkman, Sparkman & Stephens designed some of the most notable sailing yachts of the mid twentieth century. These included the Dorade, built in 1930, and the America's Cup winner Ranger, built in 1937. The firm is still active today.
