Faculty Department of Architecture 1934-1946. Artist, author, and educator who worked in pencil sketches, watercolors, lithography, etching, drypoint, and photography. After service in World War I, Chamberlain moved restlessly between the U.S. and Europe for the rest of his life, which resulted in images and photographs for publication and even a series of cookbooks, co-authored with his wife, Narcissa Chamberlain. His autobiography, Etched in Sunlight was published in 1968.
