Description

Christopher Thomas Walsh was came to MIT in 1972 with a joint appointment in the Biology and Chemistry departments (assistant 1972-1976; associate 1976-1978; full 1978- 1980). He served as the Uncas & Helen Whitaker Professor from 1980 to 1987, and the Associate Director of the Whitaker College of Health Sciences, Technology & Management from 1979 to 1982. He served as the department head of the Chemistry department from 1982 to 1987.
