A CountingPast exhibition
A Counting: Boston-Cambridge is a participatory multimedia artwork by Ekene Ijeoma and Poetic Justice Group.
A Counting will be coming off-view after Sunday, May 21. Before it goes, please participate in this moving vocal portrait, and visit it in our lobby.
This software-generated livestream is composed of an evolving never-ending count from 1 to 100, featuring a different local voice, language and accent for each number. Boston-Cambridge is the sixth city to host this ongoing series of live-streamed sound and video artworks, following Ogden, Omaha, St. Louis, Houston, and New York.
As a vocal portrait of the region, the more people that participate, the more it will sound like Boston-Cambridge! Add your voice by calling 857-663-0688 and count to 100 in any language.
