Love and Other Entanglements

February 10, 2017

Join us for a pre-Valentine’s Day warm-up event featuring stories, live music and a little theater.

"Three guys, two love triangles, and one frisbee" is only one of the tales woven by storytellers MIT Professor David Kaiser, and freelance writer and MIT alum Lindsay Brownell.

Additional stories include a proposal on a rollercaster, by Brendyn Schneider, and "hiding in the church closet," by Katie Liesener.

Listen to live music by Eiji Miura and Dan Barton featuring popular standards sung by jazz greats such as Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole, and Ella Fitzgerald.

And be the first to enjoy a read-through of Both/And—a new one-act play by local playwright Patrick Gabridge, which takes a whimsical look at humanity’s struggle to understand the building blocks of the world. Both/And is a project of Catalyst Collaborative at MIT, the science-theater partnership between Central Square Theater and MIT.

Light refreshments will be available.
