Family Workshop: Social Robots & AI

Please note that this is an 11+ workshop.

How is artificial intelligence reshaping our relationship with technology? In this hands-on workshop, explore the advantages and pitfalls of AI as you build and code your own social robot.

This workshop is designed for families and friends working in small groups. Children must be age 11 and above, and must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the workshop. Workshop price includes museum admission. Please feel free to come and explore the museum with your family before the workshop.

$15 for ages 11-18, $20 for ages 19+

Family Workshop: Stop Motion

Please note that this is an 11+ workshop.

Join us for this hands-on family workshop where you'll create your own stop-motion video while learning the basics of photography and digital art. Together, you'll explore the principles of animation, discover photography techniques like lighting and composition, and bring your creative ideas to life. No experience needed—just bring your imagination and teamwork!

This workshop is designed for families and friends working in small groups. Children must be age 11 and above, and must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the workshop.
