Lessons Learned on the Charles

The Charles River Floating Wetland was installed in 2020 to enable important research on artificial wetland technology. Meeting both climate resilience goals and creating community connections to the Charles River, this project also created hands-on learning opportunities for school students.

Learn about the success of this pilot through a presentation on the research findings from the Charles River Conservancy and Northeastern University. This event will conclude with an exciting look into the future including a vision for additional wetlands in the Charles.
