Jackson’s Pond Cluster Housing

Contact us about this architectural site

Description

"Collaborating with Winett Realty Partnership, Jim Sandell was the architect for the design of a cluster of 14 homes in a rural New England environment. Located in one of the region's oldest suburban areas, the design of the homes respects the traditional architecture of the surrounding neighborhoods while incorporating contemporary needs such as energy conservation and passive solar technology. Locating the homes in a cluster at the edge of woodlands allowed for the conservation of 60% of the site as well as breathtaking views of the surrounding open meadow and pond."
