Description

"This addition to a central heating and cooling plant transformed a windowless box into a group of carefully orchestrated volumes filled with daylight. The addition is offset from the original building by a few feet in two directions, with a long skylight-monitor joint between the old and new buildings. A brick screen wall was also added to the existing masonry". From "Imre Halasz, Anthony Halasz", by Gaspar and Timon, 2002.

Also completed: US Department of Transportation System Center Signage and Landscape, Cambridge, MA in 1974.
