Building Design: “As part of the overall Master Plan for the expansion of Tanglewood, the summer home of the Boston Symphony Orchestra, several small buildings on the grounds were designed or renovated. The Barn was renovated to accommodate staff offices and restrooms for concertgoers. CLHS also designed practice studios for use by visiting music students. These simple sheds were scattered through the woods on the grounds, to provide solitude and inspiration for the musicians within.”
