Description

This paperweight consists of a round medallion with the MIT Mens et Manus seal on one side and an image of Building 66 and the inscription "Chemical Engineering//March 5, 1976" on the other side. The medallion is encased in a round block of Lucite.

This paperweight was distributed at the dedication of MIT’s Building 66. The building, designed by I.M. Pei and finished in 1976, was built as the main research building for the Department of Chemical Engineering.
