Description

This instrument is housed in a rectangular plastic box with 6 binding posts on the left, and 5 on the right. In the center, there is a rectangular window that opens onto a non-linear white paper scale graduated from 100,000 to 0 ohms on the top, and 0 to 5/10 on the bottom. A thin red needle acts as an indicator for the scale. There is a paper inside the window with the hand-written reminder “Please think first.” There are there dials underneath the window with the scale.

This instrument provides voltage, current and resistance ranges for checking various circuits and insulation resistance. It was used in the Aeronautical Engineering Department's Instrument Laboratory.
