Description

Rectangular tall display case with wood base and top, clear arcylic sides. Inside drum rotates with ring holders for each class ring with brass plaques for year above. Some year plaques loose in case.

Original brass plaques for years 1963-1989. Additional white labels added in more recent years for 1992 through 2010, plus 2005 Graduate.

Inscription on side panel reads "This display made available to the MIT Museum through the work and effort of the 1988 class ring committee C.Chu Chairperson G. Anderson A. Ching M. Couris L.S.Gassaway S.Jackson G.MA D.Mavis M. Pessom." Second panel reads "The enclosed rings are non precious replicas of past and present designs for each years class, dating back to 1963. Prior to 1963 the ring was one standard design as portrayed in the 1963 ring."
