Description

Rigged model of the extreme clipper ship Flying Fish. Solid hull is light green below the waterline and black above, with blue waterways. Model is fully rigged but has no sails. Mounted on a flat wood base, part of a glass case.

The 'Flying Fish' was built by Donald McKay, East Boston, MA and launched September 1851.
