Description

Polaroid viewer in shape and design of a green colored truck. Two film sheets stapled over cut-outs for viewing with eyes and notch cut for placing over nose. "See other side" written along left side with instructions for use on reverse side. Original tag has "Mar 2-1942 U.S. Patent Office" printed on one side and "Polaroid Corporation v. Polarized Materials Corporation, Opposition No. 21,087, Opposer's Exhibit No. 26" on the other. Signed in ink "Francis J. Cassidy Notary Public".

Polaroid collaborated with John Norling to make the 3-D films (both black and white and color) depicting the assembly of a Plymouth automobile, which were viewed by more than 1.5 million, the largest audience of 3-D film to that time.
