Description

The OLPC Multichannel Battery Charger (code name "Supercharger") was created by One Laptop Per Child (team headed by Richard Smith), Cambridge (though manufactured in Asia) in 2007. This unit permitted a school with a central power source such as solar panels to charge up to 15 laptop batteries at a time, in approximately 2 hours. It is flexible in its power needs, accepting 100-230 volts AC or 10-28 volts DC.
