Description

Curved crease folding of four organ pipes. Folded using a gadget with parabolic splines. The piece is mounted in a Lucite white acrylic frame with a glass front. The folds are supported at top and bottom by pieces of cardboard cut to fit the voids and reinforced by a small triangle of wood extending the length of the frame. A larger piece of wood has been attached across the middle of the frame but not attached to the piece so may be for handing pieces. On the central wooded bar are two labels one large white label with 24 written on it in red and on top of that a small white label with 36 written on it in black.

Included in the 1978 exhibition 'White Paper 1' at the Eloise Pickard Smith Gallery, Cowell College at UCSC.
