Description

Straight crease folding of a recessed cube. The piece is framed in a double-sided Lucite white acrylic and clear-acrylic frame that allows it to be viewed from both sides. The piece is attached to a rigid backing that is held in place at the front of the frame by wooden spacers at each corner. A large hexagon has been cut out of the center of the backing for the protruding cube. The front piece of acrylic is fused to the Lucite sides while the back piece of acrylic has been attached to the frame by tape. On the bottom of the frame are two labels; one large white label has 23 written on it in red, and a small white label with 42 written on it in black. Very similar to 2016.023.134, and 2016.023.135.
