Unopened box of LEGO "Women of NASA" kit. Blue cardboard box with images of three LEGO sets: Margaret Hamilton minifig with pile of binders, Mae Jemison and Sally Ride minifigs with space shuttle, and Nancy G. Roman minifig with space telescope. 231 pieces total; set 21312. The box is signed in silver by Hamilton, Roman, and kit designer Maia Weinstock. The Hamilton set design is taken from photo in MIT museum collection. Original price tag of $25 and store antitheft tag are still attached.

The figures for this kit were designed by Maia Weinstock, deputy editor in the MIT News Office. The figure of Margaret Hamilton, a former MIT Instrumentation Laboratory employee, is based on a photo of Hamilton in the museum’s collections.
