Description

Uncolored engraving depicting six medals or seals, with caption text in Latin. Seal or medal at bottom left features a doubly spouting whale with stovepipe blowholes, from whose mouth tumble small fishes; the whale is mostly submerged in the sea, save for the head; in the background the sun rises or sets; text on seal reads "Assentatione morior" (By flattery I die).
