Monochrome engraving, made with separate plates for the border and for the image. The image features a portrait of the Dutch artist Joanna Koerten Blok surrounded by cherubs and angelic figures; on a dome is printed her name, and the numbers 29 and 15 appear over the image. The engraver's name appears below the image on right and the text "No. 8." and "III. Deel.P.142. " appear atop the image. The border features small framed scenes of animals and human figures (signs of the zodiac), including a pair of whales or dolphins on the top right corner.
