Uncolored engraving depicting fishes in the sea, as well as whales. There are flying fishes in the air, and seabirds. There is a border composed of marine life of many shapes and types, including a horseshoe crab, a carpenter shark, a puffer fish, and a seahorse. Title is printed in Latin and German (this in blackletter) in the lower margin.
