Monochrome engraving with three scenes. Top, labeled "Page 83.", a whaling scene with a spouting whale and two large ships. Middle, a coastal fishmongery, with fish laid out to dry in the sun on boards, and a number of barrels, perhaps for salting fish, under a lean-to. Labeled "Page 85." Below, a man examining some ice, with a reindeer, a sledge, and what appears to be a gravestone nearby. Labeled "Page 317". Below the images is printed "Pubd. June 1, 1839, by J. Harris. St. Pauls Church Yard."
