Description

Six, hand-colored scenes on one sheet that decpicting various activities of the British ships Royal George, Britannia, and Barfleur, portrayed after life by Thomas Baston. The last two scenes depict vessels catching whales, cod, and herring. According to the graphite inscription and the inscribed description, the bottom left scene is of the English whale fishery and the bottom right scene is of the Groenland whale fishery.
