Description

A view of the hull of the ship of the line "Royal Prince." Three gun decks are visible and the masts have only been partially drawn without the sails. The artist includes the ornate decoration details of the stern and rudder areas.

The ship Prince Royal was the first ship of the line with three complete gun decks. She was later rebuilt to fit 70 guns.
