Description

A drawing in pencil and colored with watercolor of the cutter yacht "Violet" in stormy waters. Ships around the "Violet" also sway violently to the side. The dark grey sky and profusion of clouds suggest a storm.

On the reverse side (verso), there is a sketch of the cutter yacht done in pencil showing a different view of "Violet."
