Four small sepia-tone photographs on one sheet. Top to bottom: group portrait of the crew of the 'Alice,' the front and back of a French, Ville de Dieppe medal commemorating the transatlantic journey, and a photograph of the yachts 'Alice' and 'Vanguard' docked off Cowes.

Captain Clark sailed the Alice from Nahant to Needles, England accompanied by Charles Appleton Longfellow, Henry R. Stanfield, three seamen, and a Chinese steward. They made the voyage in 19 days, 8 hours, and 50 minutes. The crew was fêted in Cowes. At the time, it was the smallest yacht to cross the Atlantic and recieved popular attention from the press.
