Description

Portraits of two Cunard, Royal Mail steamships off the tail of the bank. The 'Europa' is navigating to the left of the print with its port-broadside visible while the 'Niagara' is anchored in the right. She flies signals. Both ships made regular passages from Liverpool to Halifax to Boston/New York and used as Crimean War transport vessels in 1854.
