Description

A radical finkeel cutter, Pilgrim was designed to contend for the America's Cup by Binney & Stewart, successors to Edward Burgess's design firm. Built for the 1893 America's Cup defence, Pilgram lost out to Nathanael Herreshoff's first America's Cup defender Vigilant. Negative number 4439.
