Original Caption: "An informal talk in President Compton's office when General Kenney visited the Massaschusetts Institute of Technology on October 19, 1945. Show here are (left to right) General George C. Kenney, '11, Jay Zeamer, Jr., '40 who was awarded the Congressional Medal for his work in the Pacific where he served under General Kenney, and Dr. Karl T. Compton, President of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology who recently returned from a scientific mission which took him to Tokyo."
