Original Caption: "Introducing Frequency Modulation in Picture Transmission Cambridge, Mass.....In above photo combo, at left is portrait of Wendell Wilkie, Republican presidential aspirant and at right a spot new picture of Dr. Karl T. Compton, president of M.I.T., both transmitted by soundphoto and frequency modulation. Center photo shows the I. N. P. exhibit at M. I. T.- showing the standard type of home radio used in picking up the frequency modulation picture transmission signals which were fed into a soundphoto receiver at right. Those in picture are standing, left to right, Harold Sampson, General Electric representative; Paul De Mars, technical director of the Yankee Network and Walter Howey, managing editor of the Boston Hearst Papers.
