Original Caption: "With national defense and technology the theme for the day at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology yesterday, thisgroup [sic] examined a mobile three-inch anti-aircraft gun. At the controls is Rear Admiral Harold R. Stark, while those standing, left to right, are Dr. Karl T. Compton, M.I.T. president; Gerard Swope, president of General Electric, and Louis Johnson, assistant secretary of war."
