Original Caption: "Technology Graduation Participants--Taking part in impressive commencement exercises of Massachusetts Institute of Technology at Symphony Hall today were Alexander Macomber, chief marshal; Clarence D. Howe, Canadian minister of munitions and supply, the chief speaker; Dr. Karl Compton, president, and Gov. Saltonstall.
