Edwin E. Aldrin Jr. seated in spacecraft. Used in Technology Review, February 1967, p. 20.

Original Caption: "Edwin E. Aldrin, '63, pilot of the Gemini 12 mission, brought a unique background of advanced academic preparation in M.I.T.'s Department of Aeronautics and Astronautics to his Gemini assignment. This photograph was made while he was checking out the spacecraft before the flight during a simulated test on Complex 19 at Cape Kennedy."

Original Caption: "Cape Kennedy, Florida--Gemini 12 astronaut Edwin E. Aldrin, pilot for the National Aeronautics and Space Administration's Gemini mission, checks out the spacecraft during a simulated test at the White Room level of Complex 19. The Gemini 12 mission calls for Aldrin to make three periods of extra-vehicular activity (EVA) during the four day Earth orbital mission."
