Original Caption: "Telephone Wizards Meet for First Time in Thirty Years For many years Dr. Alezander [sic] Graham Bell and Theodore Vail have worked together for the improvement of the telephone and yet they had not met for thirty years until they attended the recent banquet of the National Geographic Society in Washington. There the two wizards of the telephone clasped hands. Mr. Vail and Dr. Bell are shown here standing on the steps of the building of the society. Mr. Vail is the figure to the left. Back of them is a group of the society's officials."
