Eugene R. Black speaks at a podium during an MIT commencement ceremony. Original caption: "Eugene R. Black, as President for 13 years of the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development, and now as a special consultant to the Secretary General of the United Nations, has gained renown as an effective architect of a better world.
