Black and white photograph of Margaret F. Brown posed in her painter's smock in her studio with a still-life painting of flowers. The reverse of the photograph indicates that her head was cropped from the original image and published twice in newspapers. Used in: Boston Herald, September 19 1941, and Boston Traveler, August 9 1945.
