J.C. Hunsaker, Mrs. M. Chichester du Pont, A. Felix du Pont Jr., and Karl Taylor Compton attend the dedication of the du Pont room at MIT, named after Richard Chichester du Pont (brother of A. Felix du Pont Jr.). Original caption 1: "Left to right, J.C. Hunsaker, Mrs. M. Chichester du Pont, A. Felix du Pont Jr., K.T. Compton, At dedication of du Pont room, June 19, 1947." Original caption 2: "In memory of Richard Chichester du Pont, postdoctoral scholarships in meteorology were established and a recreational room for students in aeronautical engineering was dedicated on Alumni Day. Present at the dedication were Mrs. M. Chichester du Pont, A. Felix du Pont, Jr., who made the presentation on behalf of his brother for whom the room is named, and Dr. Compton."
