Original caption: "Members of the Ford Motor Company Fund Scholarship Board met in Detroit June 26 and 27 to determine 70 sons or daughters of Ford employees who will reveive four-year or university scholarships this year. Seated around the table, left to right, are Gordon Gray, president of the University of North Carolina; James R. Killian, Jr., president of Massachusetts Institute of Technology; J. L. Morrill, president of the University of Minnesota; William McPeak, executive director of the Fund; Millicent McIntosh, president of Barnard College; John S. The board examined scholastic records and the results of competitive examinations taken by all applicants. Winners probably will be announced within two weeks.
